Text Styles
This function is particularly useful if you have a text style that is utilized frequently throughout a book or article. For example, you can set a specific font for quotations, or perhaps italicize all quotations. Other text styles include text color or text highlight. You can also create new custom text styles.
Page Numbers
Page numbers can be enabled or disabled. When the page numbers are enabled, Inkwell allows you to choose the position of the page numbers appearing in either the top outer or bottom center position.
You can also change the appearance of the page numbers here as well, including options for font, font size, line height, and a bold or italic font.
Headers
You can enable or disable both types of headers. You can also choose:
Position of the odd or even header
The content that is displayed in the header (Book title or chapter title)
Font and font size
Line height
Bold or Italic
Chapters
Chapter settings allow you to choose what happens when you start a new chapter. The settings allow you to have running chapters, start a chapter on a new page, or start a new chapter on a new even or odd page.
You will also have the option to start a chapter with a drop cap or change the number of columns here.
If your chapter title is particularly long, you can assign a Short Title so that the chapter title will fit in the header.
